A lot of medical jargon there - assume they are saying that the vaccine can stop their natural anti bodies to protecting the kidneys??? A very interesting, but as Celeste says, scary read.
Toby is due for his booster in the next week or two - I will mention this to the vet due to his Kidney trouble.

I posted about this on the health forum I belong to. One of the members sent me an audio clip of one of the vets (Dr Lappin) speaking about this. Apparently the cats who were studied and found to develop problems were vaccinated 12 times in a year. He does not say the vaccinations cause CRF -he makes that plain in his speech. What he does say is that it should be studied further.
No thanks needed - I was worried since I plan on vaccinating my cats this week. After losing 2 to renal failure in less than 2 years I didn't want to chance going through that again anytime soon.
