Sadly the shelters here are overflowing. Much worse always at this time of year, with kitten season. And people who can't be bothered paying to have their cat/dog cared for when they go on holidays, so much easier to dispose of them
I saw on a news segment this evening, the RSPCA are so overwhelmed by the amount of animals in their care, they are are asking for foster carers.
