We were all sad that you crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but we all know that you knew how much you were loved and cared for by Mommy Kimmie. You no longer have to suffer or be in pain and you can roam the grassy knolls chasing butterflies and other furfriends in the warm sunshine!
But nonetheless, you will still be missed by everyone, especially your Mommy.
God Bless you and you will forever remain in all our hearts!! Lanie |

I reread just this AM Kimmie's introduction to this site. How she spoke of you Alfred with so much love and affection. You will never be forgotten, only more cherished as time goes by. Kimmie has a new Guardian Angel on her shoulder----forever!
Hugs,
Joane |

Hugs Kimmie.
The Last Battle
If it should be that I grow frail and weak
and pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then you must do what must be done,
For this--the last battle--can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
Don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
What is to come can hold no fears
You'd not want me to suffer, so.
When the time comes, please let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me til the end
And hold me firm and speak to me
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree
it is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close--we two--these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.

OH my gosh Sheryl,
That poem... Wow!
Thank You. Even though my heart tore half out of my chest, I'm so glad I held him and talked to him while they put him to sleep.
Thank You again friends,
Kimmie |

I'm sorry, Kimmie, about Albert.
Know he still loves you, and is with all our beloved babies up there.
Purrs & hugs,
Julie |
