Last night I made a ham for dinner and wanted some potatoes to go with it, but was in the mood for something besides mashed or Au Gratin, I sliced red potatoes very thin, melted butter with minced garlic and tossed the potatoes in it. I spread them out on a baking sheet in a thin layer. Topped with parmesan cheese and baked until tender and top was slightly browned. No recipe. just threw in what sounded good. this will be a repeat in my house. I might try olive oil and chives next time.
