I cheatedI cheated. I bought cookies from Costco today ( a wholesale club ) because I just plain ran out of time to bake my own cookies. For a myriad of reasons it just didn't happen. The ones I baked in early December have been gone for weeks.
Any other "cheaters" out there?????

Hi! Well, not exactly cheating but maybe easier. We bought the kind of pre-mixed dough that are pre cut in squares. All I have to do is cut the squares and put them on a cookie sheet. They do make good cookies and Jerry likes them. They are good, but 2 cookies sends my sugar to 200 which is not a good number. Can't do that too often.    Linda

 I did what Linda did two days ago. Really a tough job. Had to read directions, break the dough and make sure it fit on the pan and then pray to god that I didn't over or under cook the cookies. Believe, me, I can mess up a frozen pie if I am not careful.
I'm out of the mood for making my own and doing the decorating with kids like I used to.
The cookies were delicious and looked pretty good too.
