CiscoI had to send Cisco over the bridge last night. For those of you who might not know him, he was diagnosed with chronic renal failure a few months ago. We kept him going with fluids and medicine until he let me know it was time. I just have to keep reminding myself that he had 16 years of love. I miss my old seal point boy. It was difficult to sleep last night without him on my pillow.

Cisco will be brightening your life from the Bridge now as your guardian angel, I'm sure of it. You and he are blessed to have shared those sixteen beautiful years together here on earth before you reunite one day.
Sending you gentle hugs and a shoulder to cry on.

Lynda, I am so sorry about Cisco. He is still around you in spirit but his body just couldn't keep going. 16 years of love and life is a wonderful thing for a cat! My prayers are for you and family during this difficult time. Our furkids just don't live long enough. I am sure Cisco knew you did all you could do for him and it was time to leave. He knew you LOVED him. (((HUGS)))

Lynda, I sit here with tears as I had to do the same with my sweet Coco at the age of 17 last June. He was a seal point too, today he has a new playmate and we still have them both in our hearts.

Hello Lynda. I am sorry to hear about Cisco. You had him a long time and the two of you shared a special kind of Love. It always hurts when someone or something leaves this life for the next life. Cisco is safe at the Bridge and he is enjoying perfect health and exploring the meadows, streams and pastures. I bet he has found a butterfly or two. My prayers and condolences are sent your way. If you need a friend to listen, just pm me. Linda

I'm sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose a dear friend- that's what a pet really is to me- a dear, old friend. We live with them every day, they become a part of our routine, our life. Their routines and habits cross with ours, and when they're not there anymore, it leaves a big hole. Especially at night, with a pet who shares your bed- that's very hard. I feel your pain and I hope you get some relief from the knowledge that your friend is free of pain, and you did the right thing for him.
