Annie's poorlyI woke up this morning and Bart was sleeping in Annie's spot on the bed. I thought it was unusual but since it was cold, I thought she had gone upstairs to get warm. I went upstairs later in the day when she still hadn't come down and found her on the day bed. She was reluctant to move so I called the vet and got in to see the head vet just before they closed for the day. He examined her and found that she had pain in her lower back. He gave her some Metacam thinking that she had injured it somehow when she was running and jumping. She seemed better right after he gave her the first dose but now she's slowed down again. I have two more doses to give her and I hope he vet is right. I am leaving on vacation Monday and she hides from the pet sitter. I don't know if I can go if she is still poorly.

Oh, AnnieOh, Annie 
So sorrie to hear Annie isn't feeling well. I hope your Vet is right too. Lets hope that the meds will help her more with those 2 dosage left, until Monday to see what the next best medical care or meds are needed. I sure hope she'll be betta by then!
Please keep us update as we are very concerned for her, we know how worrisome it is for you & we feel for you to Mom.

Poor Annie.
Hopefully it is only muscular, and she has made a full recovery before you go on holidays.

I'm back from sunny California to report on Annie. I gave her the three doses of Metacam and by Sunday afternoon she had decided to come downstairs. Sunday night, she was running all over the house so I decided I could go on my trip. I called the petsitter every day and she said all Annie's food was being eaten and she was using the litter box (She's never seen Annie because Annie hides way under the dresser whenever someone comes over) so I felt comfortable enough to relax.

So happie to hear that Annie is doing so much betta! Phew! I know how worried you were, so wasn't all of us here.
Glad that you were able to go to CA & had a gud time for yourself knowing that Annie was in good paws  with your petsitter.

Pat I'm happy to hear you were able to vacation in sunny CA and welcome back!  Annie so reminds of Romeo! He will take one look at someone he is not really familiar with and run for it! Allie is just the opposite and will brow beat the person. I'm pleased Annie made a quick recovery and I hope she stays well.
