I have used Purina One for decades now. My cats seem to thrive on it. I have also used Royal Canin. My kitten is on Royal Canin and I am trying to switch him over to Purina One. It is a challenge. I don't want to upset his tummy.

What is your cat's favorite food?

Elvis LOVES Royal Canin.  I have tried several times to switch food with no luck.  The groomer when she was watching him while I was gone said .. oh, I will do it.. smile

Well, she mixed his Royal Canin in with the other food and came back to a bowl that he had systematically picked all the RC out of and left the other.

Her response to me was "boy he loves that food"....

 That's a long story. He has been on Science Diet for Hair balls , sensitive tummy, then ZD so I can't say. He has had many problems with hairballs, vomiting, ect. And he just started eating wet food.
 When he gets out of the vet tomorrow, I be I will have a new food in the pantry!

I feed both wet and dry. They love RC dry. I give them a mixture of RC, Persian, Exigent, and Oral care. They especially love the oral care

"Taste of the Wild, Feline" dry kibble.  This is a all natural with no grains and around 42 plus % protein and raw meat.  NO raw fowl, pork, or fish!

I'm just starting with the kittens and trying to find out what they like. So far, I've started them on RC kitten; they get an assortment of wet food--Pro Plan, Wellness (which they do not like), Science, etc.

Elvis is not a fan of canned "wet" food... but, he LOVES his baby food...  his favorite time of the day, I hold the spoon and he licks it clean and then some.. smile  I think it may be my favorite time of the day also.. looking at that little face so happy and seeing all the texture in his markings... sigh

No, I am not over the moon about my boy!!!!!

Hill's special prescriptions diets in this household.  Unfortunately, Romeo didn't do well with any of the high quality foods, eg: Wellness, Nature Variety, etc.   The only diet he can tolerate is the original Fancy Feast sliced turkey/can.

My kitties will only eat Purina Naturals.  Sometimes Bartholomew will eat a little RC but mostly it gets stale in the bowl.  They will eat Healthful Life from the small bag but if I buy the bigger bag, they get tired of it and I have to give the rest to my local shelter.  They both love the wet Fancy Feast with whipped egg in it.  They will only eat about a quarter of a teaspoon of it per day, though.
