Okay, after talking at great length with Ellie, I'm afraid I didn't make myself clear about the contest and y'all are thinking I want more than I actually want.  I'm not asking everyone to use a photo enhancing program on their entries...I just meant you could if you wanted.  :red face

Here is what I'm wanting...  A picture that has a theme i.e., Dakota has a picture in a cubs baseball cap.  That signifies April because that's opening day of baseball season.  I saw a picture of Smoochie Girl sitting nicely by the Christmas tree...that could be an entry for December.  Just think of a month, add some props and snap pictures of your kitties!  Send me your entry and tell me which month you're doing.  As far as frames and such, I'll add those when I do the actual calendar.

Celeste, Romeo with a pumpkin would be purrrrfect for October!!!

Is this better, Ellie???

I've got my first entry for the calendar contest!  Get your thinking caps on and plan your calendar page.  The deadline is Oct 1st so I have time to make it before Christmas.

Cat, I do have some photos that could represent spring months that are not digitally altered.  What size calendar are you planning?

The reason I ask is that pixel size will become a factor if it is going to be an 8-1/2"x11" calendar.  I have used various camera settings on the photos I have taken and not all of them will reproduce well at this size since the resolution will be too low. :sad

I'm thinking of Linda's Boo within her beautiful outside garden as being an excellent candidate. :smile   I know her photo resolution will be excellent for a calendar of this size since she has a high quality camera.

Yes Celeste, the picture resolution is extremely important.  For this reason, I am asking only pictures submitted in jpg and sent to me via email.  When captured off the website, the resolution is reduced.  The calendar will be in the 8.5x11 size range.  Also, please do not submit a picture of any kitty other than your own.  I don't want any legal problems down the road.  A submission to me from your own email is an agreement to have pictures of your kitties used as advertisement for our website.  As I've said from the beginning, the calendar will be used as the sample on the website.

Also, digitally altered photos are acceptable as long as they represent the month for which they're being submitted.
